Date filter for 3 months prior today.

I am trying to filter a pivot table with data coming from a Power Pivot table. I need to only show dates 3 months prior than whatever todays date is. I have tried both date filters in the pivot table itself and from the Power Pivot data model but I can't find what I am looking for. Any ideas how to accomplish this? Does it really matter if I filter on the pivot table or the data model?

Try to insert a slicer (PivoTable Tools>Options>Sort & Filter) or Report Filter (in the Field List) for your pivot table. This will work if it's oke to manually change the filter. When you need to do this automatically, I would suggest using VBA.
