Line Graph - Different Data Series on the Same Axis

Hi there,

I would like to produce line graphs with 2 separate lines for different data series but both on the same axis to provide an easy comparative view.

One set of data is on the Deciles (10th - 90th Percentile), while the other set of data is on the 5th, 25th, 50th, 75th and 95th Percentiles. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to show the separate data on the same axis positioned correctly. Attached is an image of the 2 data sets on separate graphs and what happens when I place them on the same graph. Is there a way of linking the data series to specific points on the axis?

Note: The grey line is only there to extrapolate from 5 to 95. The Blue line should be attached to every 10, with the orange line on 5, 25, 50, 75 and 95. Attached is a sheet containing the 3 data sets I would like to produce these graphs for (Nugget, Total Sill and u Range) along the x-axis.

No, not quite. Apologies if I my original message was a bit unclear.

I'm after:

- 3 separate graphs each with 2 lines using a the unique percentile series.

Graph 1: Nugget; One line using data from the 10,20, 30,40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90th Percentile. The second line using data from the 5th, 25th, 50th, 75th and 95th Percentile

Graph 2: Total Sill; as above

Graph 3: u Range; as above.


Series 1 should have the first data point on '10' on the X-Axis, and each subsequent point on every 10th- 9 in total.

Series 2 should have the first point on '5' on the X-Axis, and then 25, 50, 75 and 95th- 5 in total.

So it's just a case of creating empty cells along the X-Axis for point you want to skip?

Shame the nugget graph kinda supports the trend I didn't want

Click on first serie and you will see what was choosen. Then second serie.
I forgot change y-axis to percent but it is easy to do (format y-axis)
