Do I have too much data to put on one chart??

Pretty much a newbie for charting.... I'm wondering if I can put 2 sets of data (revenue and lbs) for the same customers and dates onto one chart. I was going to use x-axis for dates and y-axis for customers, but got stuck trying to actually create a chart. Can anyone give me some advice on this?

Your file does not include any of your attempts to create a chart, so it is difficult to know what you are having trouble with.

In terms of what Excel can handle, you do not have too much data. In terms of what is easy to read, that is a lot of data to include in one chart.

Here's how I would probably create a basic chart from this:

    1) Because you have "extra" stuff inside of the table (Merged "Revenue" and "Pounds" cells and subtotal rows), I would not simply select the entire block of cells. I would select B1:H1 -> ctrl -> select B3:H16 -> Insert chart -> desired chart type -> Edit series from the Select Data dialog if needed. That should get you a revenue vs. date chart for the different customers.
2a) Evaluate if there is room for the pounds data on the revenue chart. If so, select B19:H32 -> Ctrl-C to copy -> select chart -> ctrl-V to paste.
2b) If a separate chart is indicated, repeat step 1 for the pounds data and insert a second chart.

If you want to be able to create the chart cleanly from a single selection, remove rows 2 and 18, and move rows 17 and 33 somewhere safely below the table. Then you can simply select the entire table and insert the desired chart. Possibly, Excel will decide to put "series in columns" with that much data, but a simple "Switch rows/columns command should rectify that.
