    Pivot Table Filtering

Hi All, I have what is probably a very basic question.

I created a Pivot Table where the rows are years and quarters (Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4). I am trying to create a Pivot Chart for 2015 Q3 & Q4, 2016 Q1-4, and 2017 Q1-3. How do I create a smart filter to only get those specific years and quarters?

If I filter by quarter then then lose data, e.g., I don't want 2015 Q1 or Q2, but if I filter them out I lose them for 2016 and 2017 also. So I need to filter out 2015 Q1 and Q2 and 2017 Q4 but I can't filter by quarter or it applies to all years, which I don't want.

    Thanks in advance!

    Re: Pivot Table Filtering

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

I said attach sample workbook but I didn't say I'll help.

Thank you for the advice sandy666. But attach file does not work for me so I tried to just upload some images...Also doesn't work. Frustrating.

I tried both Chrome and IE. Do I need to use edge? Or do I need to host the files online and can only link to online images? Ugh.

Thank you. I know how to attach but when I click the attach button there is a tiny white box with absolutely nothing in it that pops up. I'm not sure why but I tried multiple browsers. I'm at work so maybe it is a security setting. I'll try again when I get home.

Okay, I will have to find a different computer and install javascript (which I can't on my work computer) and then upload the file. Thanks for all the advice.
