Sorting of months, using pivot table

When I am using the pivot table, the months are getting sorted alphabetically.
Can this be avoided?
Please help me sort this issue.

maybe it will help a little: Excel Pivot Table Sorting
or
Go To > More Sort Options > Right Click ‘Pivot tables’ > Select ‘sort menu’ > select ‘More Options’ > deselect ‘Sort automatically

Re: Sorting of months, using pivot table

If your mionths are being sorted alpha, chances are they are not real dates, but text. Do a quick test with =isnumber(cell-with-date)....if the answer is FALSE, you have text and we will need to convert them
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: Sorting of months, using pivot table

Try to mention the months in full name as January, February etc

then go to pivot table ->Sort -> More Sort Options -> More Options ->Untick Autosort ->First Key Sort order (Jan,feb, mar) -> ok

Hope this works
Regards,
