    Display correct number format

I have 2 options to display on a chart. The 1st option I want "currency" format with no decimals & the 2nd option "currency" format with 2 decimals.
I have attached a test file.
    Thanks in advance

    Re: Display correct number format

Are you referring to the data labels (the numbers above the bars)?

If you want to format the data labels, right-click on any of the data labels > Format Data Labels > Number > Category: Currency > Decimal Places: 0 or 2 (whichever you'd like).

Thanks for your response - I am referring to data labels but am using a check box to toggle the data that is displayed on chart. For quantity, I want zero decimals & for charge I want 2 decimals.

    Re: Display correct number format

    Hi,

If you use a named formula to choose between the original ranges and plot that name instead of a separate range for the chart, the labels will automatically pick up the original range formatting. Attached is an example of that.
