Hey ya'll. I have been trying to find a way to sort the data in my pivot table. My row fields are Customer,Last_Order_Date,Year. My columns are months of the year with the Revenue summarized for each month then grand total by year.
My problem is that I want the data sorted by Revenue, in descending order, for year = 2018. For the life of me, I've not been able to figure this out. I found a work around online that includes adding a filed to the data, so I created a field (Sort_Yr) to sum the revenue when year = 2018. I added this field to the pivot table and I'm able to sort in descending order by this field. However, I don't want to see this field in the pivot table.
Does anyone know of a better solution than what I'm attempting, or know of a way to hide this value field? I have attached an example file.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!!! I'm pulling my hair out over here :P
