Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Re: PowerPivot formula & calculation

    Hi;
If you go into Powerpivot + manage + spendViz (tab) I managed to do a simple explicit calculation in the measure area (total sum 6,166). However every type I type the error message appears which is quite annoying. Am I doing something wrong?

spendViz? I have no idea what tables and structures you have in your data model.

I have no idea what "simple explicit calculation" you are trying to write.

You are looking at your workbook. We are not. We only have your posts here to work with. Currently, this is not enough to actually be able to help.

I respectfully repeat my request from post #2.

Are you able to see the attachment?

Under manage data model in tab SpedViz I calculated the sum of invoice. As mentioned before when I type the formula I always get the error message as per previous print-screen.

No, there's no attachment. Only an image.

Post #2 explains how to add an attachment.

You still haven't told us which formula you are trying to enter.

    Re: PowerPivot formula & calculation

That error is caused by one of below. And not an issue caused by fault in the model or DAX formula.

    1) .NET Framework 4.5 is missing or broken.
    2) Different versions of Office coexist in your environment
    3) Your Office installation is not a clean install but upgrade from previous version.

If 1, uninstall .NET Framework (if you have 4.5). Download and install 4.5
If 2, have a read of link to address the issue. https://www.inflectra.com/support/kn...ase/kb180.aspx
If 3, you may need to remove and reinstall Office and all add-ins associated, along with registry clean up.

EDIT: Are you still using Office 2010? When looking at your file, it did not raise error for me when opening model in Office 365. That leads me to believe, you have newer Vertipaq engine for data model, and not using 2010. If so, I'd recommend updating your profile to reflect your Excel/Office version.
