Graphing - Reference isn't valid with dynamic range

Under what circumstances would Excel refuse a correctly typed named range in a combination line plot graph?

    Named range:

    Correctly typed range reference:

    Resulting error:

File is attached (stripped) for reference and changed to 'V2'.

    Ideas welcome. Thanks.

Using named ranges in Series formulas is very non-intuitive.

Instead of 'LogAnalyzer.xlsx'!Boost_Range use Data!Boost_Range and it will work. However, when you save it Excel will automatically change it to 'LogAnalyzer.xlsx'!Boost_Range. I have never understood why it works this way.

    6StringJazzer,

Thanks so much. Charting in general is non-intuitive in excel. Very frustrating with the little annoyances like this.

    Thanks again.

Your workbook is called LogAnalyzer.xlsm not LogAnalyzer.xlsx...
Everyone who confuses correlation and causation ends up dead.
