Interactive Chart

You have not described exactly what kind of interactions you want to have with the data/chart. My first thought looking at the data was, if the data were "unpivotted" into a good database arrangement, then you could use pivot tables (and all of the tools associated with pivot tables) to interact with the data.

How about a line chart?

I'd recommend updating your profile to accurately reflect your current Excel version. Tools/Charts available will differ depending on your Excel version.

First, before building charts, I'd start from identifying story/data trend that you want to visualize. And model your data accordingly (I'd recommend flattening your data as MrShorty suggested).

1. Is it to show how much each vendor contributes to overall sales over time?
- I'd consider one of following chart type.
Stacked Area Chart
Combo Chart - Line and Clustered Column (I'd consider using 2nd axis for Column and base it on % of total).
Ribbon Chart - This is useful in showing position of vendor within each period, but may not be available out of box in Excel.

2. Is it to compare set of vendors over period?
