PowerPivot: Added a Column, but can't see it in the field list.

    Greetings, hope all is well!

I am using Excel 2013 Professional Plus - Power Pivot.

I added a column in the database, and refreshed but the new column is not showing in the 'Show Field List'.

Please help me make it appear, so that the power pivot works with the new added column.

Thank you very much in advance!

I added a column in the database...
How are you connecting to the database? And what is the database type (SQL, Excel Workbook, Text File etc).

If you are directly querying database from PowerPivot Data model. I'd recommend that you instead use Get & Transform (PowerQuery) to connect to database (using native query mode if SQL or other supported db type), then load it to PowerPivot.

When you directly query source from PowerPivot data model. It may not pick up new/added column(s), and often any structural change to source will break the model.
