Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and I apologize before hand if this is not the right place to ask my question, I just didn't find where else I could post. Also apologies if you see a grammar "horror" english is my second language. Thank you in advance for any and all help.
Ok, to the issue at hand. I am working with a report that includes a pivot table that populates columns A-M and coulmns O-AB are manually entered. Each time I update the source tables and refresh the report, if any of the previous entries is not in the new the data it gets removed from the pivot, rows in columns A-M update accordingly and data gets removed and the row that was below from the data that was removed takes it's place. However, rows in columns O-AB do not update (obviously since they are manually entered)
Even with a single removal rematching rows from O-AB to their respective A-M partners has to be done manually as of now. With several removals (and not necessarily in order) it becomse a matchmaking manual task using a previous iteration of the report to see which row in O-AB column group goes with which in rows from A-M column group, so the question, as in the title of this thread: how can I lock this rows in the manual column group to their respective partner rows in the automated column group? so as to when one or several rows are removed in the update, the respective rows in the manual column group are also removed and rearranged. is it possible?
