Pivot Table - How To Hide Report Filter Cells

    1) How to hide the report filter cells on Rep. Pivot - D1:E1? (I want this table looks like exactly the one A1:B10 Report Filter line spoils that.)
Pivot Rable is on Rep. Pivot - A1:B10

    2) How to delete the blank cell Rep. Pivot - A9:B9?

    1. Use a slicer instead of a filter field.
    2. Filter out the blank value from the row field.

It really depends on your need.

Slicer can be stored in hidden sheet.

Alternate method is to use manual label filtering (either manual selection, or using text filter), by clicking on the dropdown menu.

If you need dynamic update of pivot filter... then you'd need more complex set up utilizing PowerQuery and DAX. However, this requires that you have access to both (i.e. Excel 2013 or later with ProPlus SKU, or subscription to Office 365).

    1) How to put the slicer on another sheet? I don't want them on the same sheet with the pivot table.

    2) "Slicer can be stored in hidden sheet."

Aren't Pivot Tables with Slicers dynamic?

Re: Pivot Table - How To Hide Report Filter Cells

As a solution I put filter fields then hide the rows containing filter fields.

Thank you very much for the answers.
