    Pivot table with additional columns

    Hi all,

    I'm trying to create a pivot table showing a list of transactions. I want to group the transactions by Category, then by a description, and then list every transaction ordered by date, with subtotals for each Category.

    I have attached an example file showing both the pivotal table I have set up, and how I want it to look. The problem is it is creating a new drop down for each date with the transaction details listed as a subcategory. I would like the transaction details to show alongside the date in a separate column. It is also subtotaling transactions of the same date from the same category (see highlighted in pink in attached file). I just want to show each individual transaction with the date and transaction details listed side by side.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The Value fields are always shown on the right side of the PivotTable. The closest format is to choose the Show in Tabular Form in the Report Layout.
