Slicers not linking all Pivot Tables

Apologies if this has been covered before, but couldn't trace it if it was.

Attached workbook has five Pivot Tables on the Pivot sheet. Each Table covers two Projects and two classes of Cost (CAPEX and OPEX).

I want common Slicers for those two elements that filter all five Tables if you select a "Project" or choose "CAPEX" or "OPEX"

I set one pair up for the Total Cost pivot and tried "Slicer connections", but the list was not "seeing" the other Tables

All solutions, suggestions and alternatives welcome as ever.

Please use add to the Data Model on all Pivot tables

    1. Create Table CO for "CAPEX" or "OPEX" and add to the Data model.
    2. Create Relationship to all Table by go to diagram view and drag CO to CAPEX/OPEX
    3. Add report connection for slicer

    Bo_Ry,

Many thanks for prompt response, but still having problems with this.

You kindly linked two of the seven Tables as far as the Capex/Opex goes, but I need to add the others and also create the slicers for the Projects.
But when I tried adding the Manpower Table I received a message that "The selected range is invalid. Select a valid range. A table cannot overlap a range that contains a PivotTable report, query results, protected cells or another table."

As there is "clear blue water" between each Table I am confused?

    A table cannot overlap
Delete Manpower Pivot table and create new Pivot Table and place it at Pivot!A60 and also check add this data to the data model.
