How to Give user ability to enter start date and end date to get the total in pivot tables

Is it possible to allow user to give specific date range to get the totals? Instead of built in date filter like today, tomorrow , next month..
Do I need to create a form?

Hi
i guess i use this in some of my files. I add a new column which calculates e.g. Rolling 10 days = if (and(today()-10 >=Date, Date <=Today()), 1,0)
Then i can just keep this filter on 1 and always see only the last 10 days.

Another this is the timeline slicer in PivotTableAnalyze to select a specific time range.
