Creating Horizontal Stock Charts

Hi,

Can anyone please help me create a horizontal stock chart? I could only do a vertical one. Attached excel has the sample data and what I could make. Also, I would be pasting an editable version of the chart into a ppt, so if this is done through some coding, will it also work once pasted in the ppt?

I would really appreciate your help on this.

You have to change your data series a bit and one of series make 'invisible'. I've used white colour for bars as chart background is white.

Hi, Thank you for taking a stab at it. But it doesn't reflect the maximum value which is needed to be depicted in the chart. I actually kind of need it to look like the stock chart. i need to show the end points (min and max) and then average in between the range of these values.

First create a bar chart, which will display the Category labels.
Add another series and change to xy-scatter markers only.
Delete secondary axis
Add error bars to xy-scatter, delete y error bars.
Set the error bars so they use custom values for Postive and Negative values.

The source data has the Positive and Negative distances from average calculated by formula
