Pivot Tables Refresh All order

I have a sheet with a dozen PTs on it.
I can get an 'PT overlap' error using 'Refresh All' so the order they are Refreshed and their position is important.

What determines the order? It doesn't seem to be the order they were created.
Can I change the order?

I'm not sure of how Excel determines the order in which what is refreshed (same goes for Queries when using Power Query).

The way to set the order yourself is to record a Macro, Refresh (not "Refresh All") the Pivots in the order you are wanting. Then run that macro each time you need to update based on newly added/changed data.

Thanks, yes I already have such a Macro and it does as you say, Refresh the PTs in my chosen order.
As it also sometimes gives me an Overlap error I tried the Refresh All option, hence the question.

Identifying which PT it 'bumps' into is still guesswork though!
