Hi I have an excel file with many thousands of rows of data which I'm converting into a pivot table. I have seen in places there was a limit on rows in a pivot table of 32,500. I'm currently at this limit and I'm receiving the warning of exceeding unique items. However, my understanding is that that limit is for earlier versions of excel. I'm currently using Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2209) which I would have thought could handle more than those rows. Any help would be great. Thanks!
Out of interest, why would you want a pivot table with that many rows?
Everyone who confuses correlation and causation ends up dead.
I have a series of vlookups to look at data and the pivot was the easiest way to group all of the data in one place which I can then reference for another purpose.
You might want to use power query instead.
