I have a pie chart generated from rows some of which may initially at least be blank.
In the attached pic these empty cells show as 0 how can I stop these blank cells/labels showing?

You need some way to exclude them from the chart's horizontal category axis range definition. For me, I often use a filter for this purpose (https://www.wikihow.com/Use-AutoFilter-in-MS-Excel ). As long as the chart's "hidden and empty cell setting" is set to "not show," then I can filter out all of the blank rows and that will remove them from the chart.

I click on the dropdown arrow for the field and click the OK button and that will refresh the filter.
Thanks again, not sure what I was thinking. Works perfect from a button now. :-)
