When pivoting data that contains dates, you get an option to display years and months, but soon as I input TBC it removes the years and months option is there a way to get around this please?

You'd need to create your own Years and Month columns in the source data.

Thank you for your reply Rory. Noted, but I was hoping to get around this without adding years and months in the source data.
Then either don't put non-date values in a date column, or use power query to add the columns dynamically in a query and build the pivot table off that query.
