Use Calculated Item.
Thank you josephtech; it works ! I didnt know anything about Calculated Items until you showed me.
You are welcome, glad to be of help and thanks for the Rep!
Hello josephteh; sorry i thought i had it figured out and working but seems not ; i deleted the values in the 'Difference' column and cant get them back even upon refreshing the Pivot table .
also i think i need to start a separate Post for an error i am receiving while trying to add a Calculated Item to my PV. the error is The Item cannot be added or modified. There may not be enough memory, the maximum number of items allowed in a field may have been reached...
Hi Red fuji, you may continue here.
"i deleted the values in the 'Difference' column and cant get them back"
I am not sure what this means.
It seems to mean that you selected cell G4 of the file attached to post #2 and pressed the delete key, however I tried that and got an error message but the value didn't delete.
Please give us details on what you did, as in cells selected, keys pressed and/or items selected from dropdowns etc.
