    Create stairs-like chart

    Hi!
Im new on this forum. Thanks for everything you make here.

I need to create a bar chart, that shows the the events of a wedding, being in the vertical axis the hours of the day (9:00, 10:00,... 00:00).
On the horizontal axis, just the name of the event, and the bar starts always at 0 and ends at the hour that starts.
Somehow, i am unable to make that work. On the vertical axis always shows random hours (Not round) and with nonsense of order.
?How can i make it work?
    Office 2016 proffesional plus.

I'm not sure what you are trying, but I would expect:

    1) The data in spreadsheet are

    2) Select the data and insert a column chart. The columns should all be the correct length, but Excel will choose "nice" fractions of a day (0.2, 0.4, or some such) which are not even hours.
    3) Select the vertical axis -> Format -> find the axis scale properties (Min, max, etc.). In the "major unit" field, enter 1:00 (if your version of Excel will accept time entry here) or the number 0.041666666666667 (if your version of Excel will not accept time entry in this field). Observe that 1 hour is 0.041666666666667 (1/24) of a day. You can enter multiples of this number to get 2 hour divisions or 3 hour divisions or whatever major unit you want.

    Does that work for you?

    Men, you are the best.
I had to play with calculator doing some math, but finally it worked!

Just had to put on "Minimum" 0,333333336 , "Maximum" 1,00001000009 , Major 0,0833333334 and minor 0,01666666668
