Charting 20 series

I've been asked to produce pivot line charts showing a value per month over 12 months.

There will be 20 (or more) series and the values do not vary that much.

The resulting charts are almost illegible, even after using different line styles and colours.

Replacing the chart with a conditionally formatted pivot table may be a solution, but are there any other options?
