    Create multi-year grant timeline

    Good morning,

    I am trying to create a Gantt chart that shows the application window for certain federal grants over the next three years. I cannot get these timelines to show up on one line. Is that possible?

    I am attaching my basic data file. I appreciate any guidance.

    Where is the Gantt chart? There is only a data table in this workbook.

    I am trying to create the chart. As of now, I have only been able to create a bar chart with one year of data.

    Then you need to mock up manually what you want. We don't create solutions for you, we assist you to reach your goal by yourself, so show us what you want.

    Re: Create multi-year grant timeline

    So, I have the basic chart I created, but I would like to show the application window for each grant through 2027. I don't expect it to be done for me, I'm just looking for some direction as the internet has thus far failed me.

    This wasn't what I asked for.

    Can you please mock up what you want to see? You said that you wanted everything on one line - I need to see what you mean. Do this manually with blocks of colour in the spreadsheet or attach a sketch that shows what you ware aiming for. How are you expecting to show overlaps on one line?

    Perhaps this will help.
    1. On sheet2 dates are filled in row 1 using: =EDATE(B1,1)
    2. Rows 2:12 are populated using: =AND(B$1<Sheet1!$I2,B$1>=DATE(YEAR(B$1),MONTH(Sheet1!$B2),DAY(Sheet1!$B2)),B$1<=SUM(DATE(YEAR(B$1),MONTH(Sheet1!$B2),DAY(Sheet1!$B2)),Sheet1!$J2))
    3. The conditional formatting rule for included dates (amber) is: Cell Value = TRUE
    4. The conditional formatting rule for excluded dates (white) is: Cell Value = FALSE
