Calculated field from same column different years in a pivot

    Hello experts,

Is there even possible to create a calculated field in a pivot, using same column but in different years?
This field should be the percent for the progress of the quantity or value for January 2023 vs January 2024.

I've created a dummy file just to get an ideea of what my goal would be. The attached file does not contain the pivot itself but I can create a dummy pivot if you think that my goal is even possible.

    Thank you very much!

Calculated fields only work on separate fields, not items within the same field. It looks like you could possibly just use one of the Show Values As options for your field. If not, you could certainly create the calculation you need in Power Pivot.

    Thank you Rory,
My problem with a the field in PowerPivot appears in the pivot itself.. it will split the calculated field in two columns.. '2023' and '2024' in this case.
That is because in the column is:

I can't see that attachment. You have to attach pictures the same way you attached that workbook for them to work properly.

You can still probably do it as a measure in Power Pivot (you can do pretty much anything there) but did you try the Show Values As option?
