Pivot table showing 0s

    Pivot table showing 0s

    Hi,

    The attached has a pivot table where I have the values are set to sum. However the pivot table shows 0 instead of the dollar amount. I'm not sure why?

    Your cost data is text - you can tell because when you select one of the cells you can see the $ sign in the formula bar. You need to remove everything before the first number from each cell.

    And there also seems to be a space behind your "text/number" ( if you need to see the dollar sign format as currency after removing unnecessary spaces/symbols))
