How to stop a pivot from grouping data

    Hi,

I have a set of data that I am putting into a pivot. Does anybody know how to stop it grouping values together. For example, I have a product three times with different values. I am wanting the three values to be separate on the pivot table, instead of grouped.

    I have added an example

First of all, your data should be in an Excel Table. As the table grows, the pivot table can keep track of what has been added both row and column wize. All you need to do is refresh the table.

I'm not sure if this is what you want. I added a helper column to break items out by row. It's up to you to decide whether you want subtotals.

One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

I have to ask: why are you using a pivot table if you don't want your data aggregated? That is the entire point of a pivot table.
