how do I shade an area on a normal distribution bell curve chart?

Hi,

There is no built in way of doing this but you could;
add another data series to your chart based on the same values for the
curve. Select the new data series and change the chart type to area.

For a combination chart solution, see

Another possibility is to use error bars, but I don't have a reference
