Hi,
To manually change the colour select the columns and then click the
specific column you want to format. Once the single column is selected
bring up the format dialog by either double clicking it or pressing
CTRL+1. On the pattern tab change the area colour. Repeat procress for
the other column.
If the columns to be coloured vary with the data the have a look at
Jon's explanation of how to make conditional charts.
