    Need help with charting

    Hello
I want to create a chart for a sheet that contains tow columns:
ther first one is the name of some hotels and the second one is the number of stars fron 1 to 5.
now what I need is a column or pie chart with numbers 1 to 5 in the x axis and number of the hotels which are in that category of stars in y axis. For example:

    Hotels: Stars:
    ------- ------
    a..............1
    b..............1
    c..............5
    d..............1
    e..............5
    f...............1
    g..............1
    h..............1

The chart should have numbers 1 and 5 in the X axis and number 1 to 10 in the Y axis and the column of 5 in X axis should pint to 2 in Y axis and 6 for 1 in X axis.
    Thank you.

Why not just list the Hotels in column A and their related Star numbers in column B
Select A1:B10 and Insert Chart, column chart, finish.

This should show the hotel name along the bottom, and the bar height reflect the star rating.

Minor adjustments for presentation can be added.

btw, I did not understand what you meant by "and the column of 5 in X axis should pint to 2 in Y axis and 6 for 1 in X axis."
