Why won't data values update?

When adding new data to my fields in my "data" worksheet, my columns update but the data values relating to the column don't automatically update. I'm having to delete them and add them to the columns again in some instances. Is this a MS Excel bug?

I'm confused too.

If you see Tools, Options, Calculation - does it list 'Automatic' or 'Manual' calculation.
