how would i go about setting a trendline to specific points of data on my charts rather than the trendline being set to all points on the chart?

No idea, but you could give the impression by setting two data series, series one (the 'back' series) coloured to the same as the background (effectively 'hidden') and having a trendline, series two (the 'front' or dominant series) being your current chart. 'Legend' will eiither need to be suppressed or ignored.Originally Posted by kevindubrow
Your tendline can then be manipulated at will.
Does this help?

note, I'm not sure thiis is wise, just that it is possible.
Hi
Either with a normal chart or pivot chart you just right click on one set of data and select add trendline. In the menu system that appears you can select which of your data to show it for.
Its a little box called based on series near the bottom
Is this what you want or an i missing something?
