    Simple Count Chart

    Hello Everyone,

I am composing a spreadsheet to chart the number of visitors to our counseling office. The chart records time via two timestamps, (one for when visitors arrive, and one for when they are finally served), and there are fields for area of interest.

I would like to produce an automatically updating chart (using "OFFSET" and "COUNT" perhaps?), which notes how many visitors came through our office on a given day, reading data from the timestamps. If possible, the chart would display how many visitors met with each of our counselors, and include a total tally series.

I'm pretty new to chart making and troubleshooting, but I'm a quick learner. I wonder what to set for a data range, and how best to assign Name, Value, and X-Axis Labels. I've tried a bit already, but without much luck; I can't seem to get more than one value on the x-axis, and no data is reading.

A Thousand Thanks for any help, in advance!

That's a lovely chart indeed... but I'm think something much simpler would suffice.

Ideally, the chart would have an auto-updating tally for a given day which could feed right into a bar chart. The x-values would be each counselor and a total.
