    Question How to make dymanic Solid-Dotted Line Chart [PLEASE HELP]

    Dear All,


    I have a data like this

    Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec
    Act Act Act RF RF RF RF RF RF RF RF RF
    10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100 110 120


    I want to have a graphic line that from Jan-Mar has a solid line and Apr-Dec has a dotted line. i can do this manually, but i want to be able automatic so if the data header change to:

    Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec
    Act Act Act Act RF RF RF RF RF RF RF RF
    10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 90 100 110 120

    the graphic will automatically has a solid line for Jan-Apr and Dotted line from May-Dec

    Please help me, it will save a lot of time if this could be possible to run automatically

    Hi,

    the attached might help, note on row 3 there is an overlap to provide a continuous line.

    Also note, with the chart selected, Tools, Options, Chart, you may need to set Empty Cells as NOT plotted.
