Arrow Exporting a chart without linking to orig sheet

    Hello,

I'm trying to export two worksheets to a new workbook. One worksheet is a dashboard that contains charts. The other worksheet is the data that populates the charts.

When I export both sheets, the charts in the new workbook still link back to the origional data source, not the new data sheet.

I tried using the "seriescollection.values" vba code to change the series values, but it doesn't work (excel bug from the posts I've read).

I'm hoping you charting wiz's can help! Thanks :-)

I turned on the macro recorder and manually changed the link from Book1 to Book2. Note: you need to save Book 2 before this will work, I think.

    Hope it helps.

Perfect! I hadn't even thought of trying it that way. Worked perfectly. FYI, it worked even without saving the file first.

    Thanks!
