    Learning help required...

    Hi again,

I am writing for help with charting, but not so much that I want you to solve my problem but rather help me solve it by pointing me in the right direction.

I have a demo version of a budget planner (can't attach, it's too big). There are some charts to the right of the sheet. Above these charts is a drop down box which you can use to select the month you wish to assess and the chart changes to reflect that month's expenditure. I want to know how to do this

I admit I am new to excel and this might be in over my head but I tend to learn by doing something I want to do, and then moving backwards (if that makes sense).

If you could point me to any topic on the subject (i've looked at pivot tables and dynamic charting, but that doesn't seem to be the answer) I'd be grateful.

    Thanks kindly.

Initially, I thought it was too big to attach but then I realised I forgot to zip it!

    Done it this time.
