    Getting Dates on Chart

I am a relative newbie so please bear with me.

I am tracking the value of 8 different funds that are in my 401k. I update this information weekly. I am looking for trends and I have a chart that will graphically show me what I want, but I need to tweak it a bit and am asking for your help to do so.

Along the bottom of my chart, I think this is called the X-axis, I want the appropriate dates to appear. What is there now is sequential numbers 1,2,3 etc. The dates I want on the chart are in my worksheet and again, are updated every week. For example, 12/29/06, 1/5/07, 1/12/07, etc. I can get dates to show on the chart but instead of the dates I want they appear as 1/1/1900, 1/2/1900 etc. I can't figure out how to change this to the dates that are on my worksheet. Probably very simple but then I have a simple mind and can't figure it out.

    Thanks much.
