Dougnut chart where the radius is the scale

    Hi everyone,

is it possible to create a doughnut chart where the radius of the doughnut is the scale. What I'm trying to achieve is a chart with concentric rings, the thickness of each ring is proportional to its value. Appreciate any guidance on this.

    Thanks,

    HarryAdney

    Hi,

if you don't find what you want at Dave's reference you could try http://www.andypope.info/charts/pies.htm and look to setting the Doughnut Hole size equal to your requirement.

    Thanks Bryan,

as it happens I've visited this site previously. This is one of those situations where I can visuallise what I want, and can't see why it shouldn't be technically possible - it's just that I can't quite figure out how to do it.

    Hi,

if you play with the doughnut you can vary the centresize with something like

however, I think that you are trying to have a variance for each ring, which you cannot.

You could explore overlapping charts, but for your purposes perhaps another variation would suit.
