I am trying to learn how to use pivot charts and I went through several examples online. The problem comes when the data is not arranged the same as the online examples.
Here is a sample of the data;
production_date Hours Oil Gas Water Total
1/1/2007 00:00:00 0 0 0 0
1/2/2007 00:00:00 0 0 0 0
1/3/2007 00:00:00 0 0 0 0
1/4/2007 00:00:00 0 0 0 0
1/5/2007 00:00:00 0 0 0 0
1/6/2007 00:00:00 20 2.67 6.14 727.69 730.36
1/7/2007 00:00:00 24 3.82 7.14 1336.67 1340.49
1/8/2007 00:00:00 24 2.16 6.96 1466.13 1468.29
1/9/2007 00:00:00 24 2.24 6.96 1480.89 1483.13
1/10/2007 00:00:00 24 5.11 6.02 1423.69 1428.8
1/11/2007 00:00:00 21.5 4.74 6.28 1213.42 1218.16
1/12/2007 00:00:00 24 5.87 6.25 1467.29 1473.16
1/13/2007 00:00:00 24 7.13 6.24 1465.63 1472.76
1/14/2007 00:00:00 24 7.52 6.76 1488.81 1496.33
I would to show how much water, gas, oil , and total fluid is produced for everyday. This means i would like to have the date on the x-axis like a timeline and graph water, gas, oil, and total fluid (line graph).
I'm imagining that oil and gas could one Y-axis because their values are similar. Water and total fluid could be on the second axis.
Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong in my attached workbook, or is this not a good time to use pivot charts?
Oh yeah, I don't care about "Hours" column.
Thanks
