    Charting reverse dates

    Hello,
I couldn't find tis through a search. Might be b/c I didn't use the correct terminology.

I have charted two columns, one is dates and one is a count. One count per date. The date column is sorted current downward to oldest. Like Week 43 downward to Week 15. When I chart this all is fine EXCEPT I want Week 15 to start on the left of the chart moving to the right to Week 43. Excel is defaulting the opposite direction and I can't figure out how to change this.

I attached a screen shot of the chart I am pulling from and the incorrect chart.

    Thank you
    Tony

    Hi Tony

Right-click on the X-Axis. Choose Format Axis..., select the tab Scale.

You'll see an option "Values in reverse order" (if the chart is a XY(Scatter)) or "Categories in reverse order" (if it's a Line chart). Check this option.
