Remove Legend Key?

Hi everyone,

I have a bar graph with just one series and would like to show the series name as a legend instead of a text box. Since there is only one series, there is no need for the legend key (little colored box) in the legend. I have tried tons of different ways to remove it, but don't think it can be done. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi

If you select the legend, then press the right arrow, you should select the individual items in the legend. Go to the one you want to remove, and then press delete.

Doing so deletes both the key and the entry, i.e. the colored box and the text. I only want to delete the key (colored box) and leave the entry (text) where it is.

The only thing I can think to do would be to make the legend background color the same as your line and markers and change the color of the font to be clearly legible.
