    Pivot Table subtotals

    Hi-

I am trying to get subtotals for each team and each driver by:

    a) getting the subtotal
    b) hiding the detail of the subtotals (i.e. each race)

Does anyone know how to do this in a pivot table? (Excel 2003, see attached).

    Many Thanks,

    Tim

You may have more luck with your tables if you change your data structure slightly.
Rather than a field for each event replace that with a field for points scored and circuit.

    See attached.

    Pivot table subtotals

    Hi Andy-

Thanks. This works. Only problem is that now I will have to rethink the structure of my Access database (which is the source of this data).

    One more headache!
