How to create a Pie Chart from this data ...

I have infomation in a sheet like so:

Date Payee Category Subcategory Debit Credit Balance
10/1 payee1 Automobile Gasoline 40.25 100.00
10/1 payee2 Food Groceries 35.00 65.00
10/2 payee3 Automobile Maintenance 20.00 45.00
10/4 payee4 Food Dining Out 10.00 35.00

and so on.

I'd like to make a pie chart showing the relationship of all the main categories (for example), so that all the rows with 'Food' as the category are summed and make up a single slice of the chart, all the rows with Automobile are summed and make up a slice, etc.

Is this possible? If so, how?

You need to summarize the data using formula such as COUNTIF or possible SUMPRODUCT.
