Show only legend for non blank series

    Hello,

I'm constructing an excel chart that automatically should plot a number of series as an XY scatter plot. It should be possible for the data amount to vary, which is why I select a quite large number of cells when constructing the chart. However, if not all of the selected columns contain data I get a little problem, namely that blank series are created which appear in the legend of the chart. This is quite annoying. Is there any way to tell excel to not show legend for blank series?

    Thank you in advance!

Quickest way is to hide the columns that are not required.
