    Chart won't hold formatting

I am having a problem with Excel 2003. I have a chart that plots data per quarter for the last 3 years. Each year is formatted a different color, but the data from the current year reverts back to a default format (Black Text, Arial, 10pt, Normal) I can change it to match the older data and save, then reopen and it's back to the default format. Please help, this report has very high visibility in my company.

    Thanks, Rick

Not heard of charts losing formats, unless the chart is a pivot chart.

Can you post cut down example that displays this trait?
    Cheers

Okay I can see they are different. Can't do more than confirm that though.

Really need to see a file that demonstrates the problem.

I cannot provide the file, it contains confidential information from the company I work for. I cannot guarantee that I could make up a dummy file that would reproduce the same error.

I know about "confidential information", which is why I said example.

If you can not re create the problem then just re create your file.
