Line - Column on 2 axis problem

I have set up a line-column on 2 axis chart. There are 8 sets of data points.

Initially it puts 4 sets of data against each axis (i.e. 4 columns and 4 lines). I need 2 columns and then 6 lines on the chart. I have set up the 2 sets of data against the primary axis and 6 sets of data points against the secondary axis. This is fine as it does plot all points against the respective axis (scale).

My problem is that it still shows 4 columns and 4 lines instead of 2 and 6 respectively. In the attached example the Elective and Non-Elective should be lines and not columns.

Hope this makes sense! Does anybody know how I can change it? I have been playing with this for days.
