Adjusting bars in a bar graph

    Hello everyone,

I'm in the process of attempting to make a graph that demands upper and lower limits on the bars of said graph. Essentially, I have to have the lower end of the bar at Point A, the midpoint at Point B, and the upper end at Point C. The closest I have been able to come to making the graph is a stacked column graph, with my required data sandwiched in between two ancillary sets of data; however, I still can't adjust the upper and lower limits of the bars without altering the data altogether.
Is there a way to manipulate the bars of a bar graph to a desired point? It's Excel 2003, if that's of any help.
Thank you in advance for any assistance.

If I understand correctly you want a floating column without adjusting you data to counter the addition of values caused by using a stacked column chart.

If you use a clustered column chart and set the overlap to 100 and swap the series order you can mask out the bottom part of the column that is plotting the upper value.

Aah, I knew there was a way to do it. Let's see if I can pull it off myself.
    Thanks for the help.
