    format the x axis on a graph

    how can i change the numbers on the x axis of a graph

    i have 18000 points and i want to put the axis from 0 to 350 in gaps of 50.

    how can i do this?

    Hi,

    With the chart selected,

    Chart tools > Layout > Axes > Primary Horizontal Axis > More Primary Horizontal Axis Options >

    Click minimum : Fixed, Enter 0 in the box
    Click maximum : Fixed, Enter 350 in the box
    Click major unit: Fixed, Enter 50 in the box
    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1

    To add to sweep's suggestion, also make sure the chart type in xy-scatter rather than Line
