    Coloumn Graph X-Axis Problem

    Hi there!
I am trying to change the X-axis of my column graph and i do not know how to do that.
    step-by-step.
i have a cloumn graph and for simplicity let's say 5 columns
    0-5;5-10;10-15;15-20
    values are
    1;3;2;4;2

when i display the graph, the column values are shown between the ticks and below the columns and i need to have the numbers below the ticks.
i.e. i want to show the that between 0-5 (whatever e.g. units) there is one sample nd between 5 and 10 another 3 samples.
in order to not write 5-10 etc i just want to have one single number below each tick.
does anyone have a clue how that works???

    many many thanks in advance!

You will need to create the axis labels yourself using a dummy series.

I have added a line chart and plotted it on the secondary axis.
By adding the secondaruy X axis and not have it cross between categories the points align with the plot area and the edges of the columns.

The data labels display the category text in the Below alignment.

No code required. Sorry that was left in there whilst answer another question on a different forum.

Create a column chart on B19:B23
format series to have Gapwidth of zero

use Source data to add new series
base the new series on E19:E24
change new series to line with markers
    move to the secondary axis
set seconadry axis labels to D19:D24

use chart options to enable the secondary x axis
on the scale tab of the secondary x axis uncheck Value (Y)axis Crosses between categories.

apply category data labels to line series
format line series to have no line
    cross marker

    remove primary axis labels
    remove secondary axis labels
